Architecture des Réseaux CNS pour Vertiports Urbains de Nouvelle Génération

Technical analysis and engineering reference.

1. Urban Air Mobility and Density Challenges

Unlike traditional commercial airports isolated outside metropolitan cores, advanced air mobility (AAM) vertiports will be situated on downtown skyscraper rooftops, parking structures, and suburban transit hubs. This operational environment introduces severe GPS multipath reflections, non-line-of-sight signal shadowing, and tight approach corridors that require specialized ground CNS infrastructure.

2. Multi-Static Sensor Fusion

AirspaceInfra integrates multi-static radar, electro-optical camera clusters, and acoustic arrays to establish high-confidence vehicle tracking: - Resolving target positions within 10 centimeters inside the vertiport final approach and takeoff (FATO) box. - Detecting unauthorized micro-drones or foreign object debris (FOD) on landing pads within 2 seconds. - Optical machine vision verifying landing gear deployment and passenger safety clearance before authorizing touchdown.

3. Cyber-Physical Edge Architecture

Vertiport operations cannot depend on distant cloud processing due to wide-area latency spikes. Edge computing appliances hosted directly at the vertiport terminate aircraft datalinks locally, ensuring safe autonomous go-arounds even if regional wide-area backhauls suffer disruption.
